Juicing!

Juicing CAN be one of the most important health decisions you will ever make! It's a wonderful way to get nutrients, oxygenate your cells and bring you back to life! :-)
The recipes don't matter when it comes to juicing, the important thing is that you do it!
I have learned to listen to my body and do what feels good to me at the time. I have gone through periods of carrots, celery and cucumber always being the base of my juice, then periods of no celery or cucumber....apple lemon, ginger base and so much more!
If you think greens are too bitter, feel free to add fruits or carrots to sweeten it up to the taste you like! The point is to do it! So do what YOU love, not what some recipe tells you! :-)

Blueberry-Ginger-Mint Lemonade

This is a perfect refresher for the dog days of summer! :-) Feel free to use limes as well and herb tea like dandelions, nettles or clovers rather than water
I juiced the lemons and ginger in the juicer whole.....then blended up the fresh mint leaves and blueberries....add water or tea and a little sweetener like local honey or stevia. :-)

Berrylicious Smoothie

fresh fruit smoothies...they do a body good! And this is how you DON'T get burned when staying out in the sun all day! :-) High in Antioxidants! Add some spirulina too! And rather than using a yogurt or dairy product, try some FRESH squeezed orange juice! And if you freeze your berries you won't have a need for ice! :-)
Banana Carob Nut Shake

Carob, dates, coconut, banana, peanut butter and almond milk.....YUM! :-) Delicious with dates and/or coconut too! :-)

One of my favorite blends, or bases! Super good for your heart and the sweet-tart-tangy is sure to be a delight! :-)

FRESH GRAPE JUICE!

There is nothing better than a glass of FRESH JUICED GRAPES! However I would NOT use seedless grapes as I don't believe anything without seeds is natural and probably genetically modified. It's also super delicious with watermelon too!!! Same rule applies...if there aren't any seeds, it's NOT of God and therefore risky in my opinion to put in your body.

Feel free to use anything YOU LIKE...and add some apples or grapes to sweeten it up if you're not used to greens yet. :-)

Orange-Pineapple-Grape

Nothing better than fresh pineapple, grapes and oranges! I always use grapes with seeds so sometimes it's hard to find grapes around here since it seems everything is going seedless. But that just makes it that much better when I do get to indulge in a glass or 3 of this favorite!
For best results use a citrus juicer for the oranges. They do not juice well in a regular juicer.

spinach, kale and cantaloupe with some fresh lemon, ginger, apple, carrot juice....YUM! :-)
Watermelon Juice

I don't actually JUICE my watermelon, I blend it up and add whatever other juice I have available. Tastes great with grape, pineapple and orange! :-)

delicious smoothie with fresh strawberries and blueberries from the garden as well as fresh mint and basil with mango and fresh squeezed orange, grape and pineapple juice! yummmmmmm
